Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations by collecting vital signs and updating medical histories.
• Assist physicians with examinations and procedures, ensuring that needed instruments are ready.
• Conduct basic lab tests and properly manage specimens for laboratory analysis.
• Keep patient records accurate and confidential, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
• Manage scheduling of patient appointments and handle office communications.
• Provide patient education on treatment plans and skincare practices.
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of examination rooms and medical supplies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant preferred.
• Experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar clinical role is required.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, especially relevant to dermatology.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for patient and staff interactions.
• Strong ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic office software
